Barrera Financial Services has been serving the Valley of the Sun since its inception in 1984. Founded on
the values of trust and transparency, my late mother Vivian Barrera built Barrera Financial Services from
the ground up. With over 20 years of experience teaching tax and financial planning, learning from my
Mom was the obvious answer when I joined the business in 2013. In 2015 I was honored to take over
business operations for Barrera Financial and to this day Barrera Financial takes pride in offering tailored
personal tax services.

I am an avid traveler and foodie who was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. After graduating from ASU in 2007, I spent time working in retail management and the hotel industry. Seizing on the opportunity to grow and expand the business, I began working with Barrera Financial Services.
I enjoy spending my time playing with my Corgi, Roxie, and working on classic cars. My wife, Briana, and I were married in the middle of the 2020 pandemic at an eclectic downtown Phoenix location surrounded by close family. We have recently completed a massive home remodeling project and hope to transform an outdated backyard into a relaxing oasis.
